Lehigh Valley College Selects 2006 “LV Idol”
(Center Valley , June 23, 2006) – Lehigh Valley College recently announced that Bobby Stasko of Mertztown, a sixth-quarter student in the criminal justice curriculum, won top honors as "LV Idol," finishing first among six finalists in the school’s annual talent show competition.
For his winning performance, Stasko played acoustic guitar and sang “Broken Glass,” an original song. Stasko’s band, And We Keep Falling, will release a CD titled "Chapter One" later this month.
Runners-up were the singing duo of Joe Ramos of Lebanon and Frank Buonacore of Stroudsburg, both management/marketing students. They performed The Foundations’ "Build Me Up Buttercup." Third place went to Tom DiRenzo, a medical assistant major from Brodheadsville, who sang Lifehouse’s "You and Me."
The finalist group was rounded out by singers Stacy Matson, a massage therapy major, and Marquis Solomon, a criminal justice major, both of Reading.
